Get them at the TMC and Friends Meeting House
The Friends Committee on National Legislation is once again distributing the blue and white signs for display on lawns and in windows to reaffirm Pittsburgh’s commitment to peace during this election year. The signs, as well as bumper stickers, are free and available at TMC and the Friends’ Meeting House of Pittsburgh, along with other locations. Do you have a head for grant research/writing, fundraising and event planning? We need your help so that the center can stay financially afloat.

Do you have computer skills you’d like to share? We are looking for volunteers for everything from cleaning our sprawling computer network to helping staff learn Microsoft Access.

Do you have a truck or a car? We looking for someone to stop by on a weekly basis to pick up items to be taken to Construction Junction for recycling.

Do you like painting? Please help us paint the front of our building or the inside walls of our office space.

We're also seeking folks to help out with receptionist duties during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm).

FBI DETERMINES PEACE IS A THREAT
The Thomas Merton Center and American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) released documents showing that the FBI is spying on Pittsburghers because of their anti-war views.
