Write On! Co-ordinator and participants

--FedUp! receives 60 letters every month that need to be answered. Sometimes it’s as simple as sending a newsletter or resource guide. Sometimes it’s helping the person incarcerated navigate the system to address cases of abuse, contacting institutions, making a press release and contacting media, relating with our advisors on the inside or building with a friend or family member.

We also started a new service project call Write On! We need volunteers to "staff" the evening. (3 month commitment for "staffers") Participants feel free to come as you can!

--Take a look for yourself our website doesn’t look really cool! But it can with your help. We need you!

Campaign Coordinators -

--We are involved in the StopMax Campaign which aims to abolish solitary confinement. Wanna help? It's statewide. That means working with people across the state to strategize! C'mon most of the abuse happens in solitary. Please.

--We get SO many letters about guards messing with people when they are about to be paroled. How they cant get programs. How they get paroled but aren't allowed out. We gotta get working on this!

--Medical Neglect - it's rampant. Let's get it from the top! We need point people to help!

Resource Guide Compiler

--Hrc FedUp! compiles and distributes lots of resources to people inside and outside of prison. Want to help? C’mon it’s important. People really need to know what resources are out there. We need to update the PA one this winter - 2008/2009

Fundraiser-- We go through about 200 stamps a month. That's about 80 bucks! We also make tons of photocopies. We need you to help us raise money so we can continue to support people.
