About our resource guide, the Pennsylvania Prison Directory Action
The Pennsylvania Prison Directory Action is a resource guide we publish for prisoners, families, ex-prisoners, and prison activists in Pennsylvania. For many prisoners, it is their only link to the outside world. It contains a wide variety of information ranging from legal and spiritual support to post-release jobs and housing.

- 30+ pages including listings for legal, advocacy, post release, lifers, juveniles, institutions, transportation etc. Focuses on PA but has national listings as well.
We will mail the directory to you for free if you are incarcerated in PA or have an incarcerated friend or loved one in PA. Otherwise, there is a suggested donation of $1.31 to cover postage costs for out-of-state requests. Sending stamps is okay. Make Checks/money orders out to Book 'Em and send to:
