Get Your Merton Award Dinner Raffle Tickets!

The raffle tickets being offered by the Merton Center are a cut, a big cut, above the ordinary. Deb Pezze and her husband Tom Balya, of Greensburg, won one of the bundles last year. (We divided them into two bundles, because there were so many events offered, thanks to Marty O'Malley).  Deb said, “I was able to spread your generosity among my family and my friends. We could not have possibly used all the tickets ourselves.”  Their prize included a full year’s membership to the Frick Art Museum, including all the concerts, a one time admission to the Warhol Museum and the Mattress Factory, dance lessons, a massage and lots of other things. “It was a wonderful prize and we thank you!”

When you buy or sell the raffle tickets, remember that the winner can give them away as gifts and keep some for themselves.

Pat Scoronic, who won the trip to New Orleans had this to add, “I had a marvelously delicious experience of life, food and entertainment while on vacation in New Orleans. From the cuisine of Pat O’Brien’s to the French market, the Aquarium the garden tours and of course Margaritaville, let alone the fabulous rooms in the French Quarter. Awesome.”

This year’s vacation prize will be quite different -- one week, June 17-24, in a lovely condo near the Allegheny National Forest, with all water activities, golf, tennis and hiking nearby. Someone will be able to treat six people to a great vacation!
