  • On-going volunteer opportunities:

 

 General: Calling our members for action alerts and events, helping with bulk mailings and database entry.
  Distribution: Helping with distribution of The NewPeople, our monthly peace and social justice newspaper.
 Stay informed: I'd just like to receive the weekly e-mail newsletters so I know what's going on each week, which meetings are coming up, etc. (many of the projects and campaigns just prefer that you show up to their meetings to get involved).

  • Specific volunteer opportunities, projects and internships:

 

The NewPeople newspaper: Volunteers needed for editing, writing, reporting, selling ads, and/or taking photos for the monthly peace and social justice newspaper.  
 East End Community Thrift Shop: Strong volunteers are needed to help lift, move and pick-up donations and also to sort through items for the Thrift Shop. 
Organizing Internships: Would you like to get experience as an organizer for one of the many projects of the TMC? We have unpaid positions open each season (and you can get class credit if you need it).                                       Check out our Spring 2009 internships here!
